Feeling Bookish

I like to observe weekly rituals- just little things to add structure to my life, to help me mark the passing of time. The flea on Sunday, the flower stand on Wednesday, the farmer's market on Thursday. All romanticism aside, it's nice to have a reason to leave the house!

Starting today, I'm instituting library Friday.

Any recommendations for my Summer reading list?

As library nerd-I am excited that you are "bringing sexy back" to the library. I like those pictures.

You may have read it already, but, Water for Elephants!

Thanks! These images have been gracing my inspiration board for years now- I wish I looked half as lovely on my library visits!

I haven't read that yet, but I've intended to for forever- thanks for reminding me to put it on the list!

Laura...

Good choices! Adam has been telling me to read The Life of Pi too, and The $64 Tomato sounds hilarious! Thanks!

Miss B...

Me too. Crazily gorgeous for catalogue photography. I want to BE that girl.

Ahh, I also have these images from anthro in a file somewhere! They are some of my faves!

I loved Middlesex, The Time Traveller's Wife, and The Secret Life of Bees.

For a dash of travel lit, try "From Here You Can't See Paris" for great French food and landscape.
